TUNG CHUNG·MOMENTUM (2nd Edition)

The second edition of the project newsletter of Tung Chung Line Extension, the“ Tung Chung·Momentum” is published! In this issue, we have for you:

1. Latest Works Progress
Construction of temporary noise enclosure will soon commence at the construction site between the two phases of Tung Chung Crescent to facilitate the shaft excavation and tunnel construction works. Site formation works for the Tung Chung East and Tung Chung West stations have been completed. Other works including foundation works have commenced progressively.

2. “ Connect to the Beauty of Tung Chung” launched!
A Tung Chung Community Guided Tour Programme ‒“ Connect to the Beauty of Tung Chung is launched”. The railway related element is incorporated into the guided tours, with four key themes, history, culture, nature and railway to introduce the historical and community development of the Tung Chung community. The programme is now open for application.

3. Festival greetings to the community
The Tung Chung Line extension projects team spent a brilliant festival with the community. The team worked together with the community to distribute the goodie bags to residents, as well as to decorate and beautify the community.
