The hoardings of the Tung Chung East section and Tung Chung West section works sites have been decorated with colourful graphics. A woodblock printing style was chosen for the design, utilising visual elements such as textured lines, dotted and chequered patterns which complement the natural scenery and iconic landmarks of Tung Chung. The design also, forges a visual link with the community landscape and conveys MTR Corporation’s vision of ‘New Railways Go Beyond Boundaries’ with a visual design that blends greenery and the neighbourhood scenery.
